Hi, I'm Jorge and I'm raising money for my best friend. Many of you that know me also know him... Rich Canto.

On October 17th, 2021, Rich was taken to the hospital for stage 5 liver failure. On January 3rd , he ended up in the hospital once again and that was when he was told he had 1 year to live. It broke my heart.

He needed a liver transplant and some months later was successfully on the donor list (Thursday, April 28th). That very Sunday, May 1st (3 days later) a true miracle happened and a compatible liver was made ready for him (a blessing).

After more than 12 hours of surgery and seven days in a coma, Rich's life had begun a new chapter had begun. Throughout the following four months after the surgery, he had eight more surgical procedures. He's genuinely grateful to be here, as we all are. His fiancee, children, family and friends have been the best. Thank you all for your prayers, as they have all manifested. The power of prayer is real! Thank you God Almighty.

But now there's a new dilemma; the hospital's bills and the cost of medicine are draining the world around him. He needs some help to catch up. Thankfully he still has a job to come back to but not before a debt of about $70k absorbed him. He's losing everything he has worked for. His insurance and even special advocates that help acquire monies for such denied the cost of his specialty medicine.

He needs to take a medicine called EPCLUSA for 3 months, and it's not cheap...
