Hello, my name is Sarra Lebeche. I came to the UK to follow my dream of becoming an aerospace engineer. For years, I studied with passion and determination, facing every challenge with strength from cultural shifts, financial hardship, long nights of study, to becoming a new mother.
But today, I’m heartbroken.
Despite making it to my final year, I have been blocked from continuing my studies several times due to unpaid tuition fees. I’ve been told clearly: if I don’t pay the debt, I may have to start all over again.
That means losing years of hard work, thousands of hours of study, and everything I’ve built simply because I cannot afford to pay the full amount in time.
I’ve done everything I could:
My parents sold their car to help me
I tried to set up an installment plan with the university
I worked while studying, even while pregnant
I made a deal with a debt collection agency but the monthly amounts were too high to afford
And now, I’m a mother to a baby girl. I want her to grow up seeing her mother finish what she started, not give up because of money.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you. I need to raise £10500 to clear my debt, unlock my university access, and graduate with the aerospace engineering degree I’ve worked so hard for.
If you’ve ever believed in giving someone a second chance or helping a dream take flight please consider donating or sharing my story. Every bit counts.
With gratitude and hope,
Sarra Lebeche
