We are currently volunteering at Almo Day and Night Childcare in Tanzania, a centre that provides essential care for vulnerable children in the community. Unfortunately, the facility is in a critical state of disrepair.

Many of the rooms have no ceilings, and in some areas, what's left is dangerously unstable and at risk of collapsing. This creates an unsafe environment for the children who sleep, play, and learn here every day.

The kitchen facilities are also extremely basic and unsanitary—just a single pot on an open fire. The children are only given one cup of porridge a day, prepared under conditions that put their health at constant risk. Many of them fall ill due to this lack of hygiene and proper nutrition.

We’re raising funds to:

Repair and replace all broken ceilings to ensure a safe environment.

Build a proper kitchen with clean cooking equipment and better hygiene.

Improve nutrition by supporting better food preparation and supply.
