I’ll close the fundraiser now since we have more than enough. She will be shipped to colombia by the end of February, meanwhile she’ll be well taken care of by my family. The extra money will be given to the family to buy Alma’s necessary stuff in colombia such as a good bed, food, and toys!

Hey everyone, I truly wish I had better news…

We’ve run into a new and unexpected challenge. The original plan to take Alma to Colombia from Miami for around $2,500 is no longer possible. The person who had agreed to drive her there is no longer able to do it. Webe looked for multiple quotes!

Because of this, we now have to ship Alma directly from Raleigh, which is more expensive. To be able to hire the relocation company from Raleigh, we are currently short exactly $450 USD.

I know this journey has had so many changes, and I hate that. This entire process has been a total rollercoaster as I’ve been doing everything I can to help Alma reunite with her family.

If we reach this amount, we will have exactly what’s needed for Alma’s relocation—Every dollar will go directly toward getting her home.

I promise full transparency. I will share the invoice, videos, and—hopefully—the happy ending we are all praying for.

Hi, I’m Alma a 3-year-old German Shepherd with a story that started on the streets of North Carolina. I was found as a stray and taken in by a local shelter, where I waited and hoped for a family to love me.

Not long after, a wonderful Colombian family adopted me and gave me everything a dog could ever dream of: warmth, love, and a real home. But sadly, because of immigration issues, my family was forced to leave the country, and now I’m separated from the people I love the most.

I want so much to be with them again, but they don’t have the funds to bring me home safely. The total cost to reunite me with my family is $2,500, i already got $1,000. However the companies raise their prices after 48 hours of the quote so if I could get a little more, that would be super helpful! This includes my transportation from the USA to Colombia, a health certificate, and a travel crate to keep me safe along the way!

Thanks to some kind people who have already helped, part of the goal has been covered—but we still need the remaining funds to make this reunion possible.
