Her parents, José and Lina, discovered her diagnosis at birth—a moment that changed their lives forever. But through every challenge, Alma has shown incredible strength and joy.

Right now, she urgently needs surgeries to improve her mobility and quality of life. In Colombia, the healthcare system only covers surgery to separate her thumb, leaving her other four fingers fused together. Without additional procedures, her ability to grow, play, and live independently will be limited.
