Alma Mahler Kammerorchester

The Alma Mahler Kammerorchester is a newly launched chamber orchestra, founded on the beliefs of friendship, diversity and European unity. By its creation, we hope to become musical ambassadors for Europe.

This chamber orchestra, including young musicians (aged 19 to 27) from many different countries, such as the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain or the United Kingdom, comes from a strong belief that sharing our cultural legacy enriches our perspectives. While playing with several leading European orchestras (Orchestre de Paris, Royal Concertgebouw orchestra, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, BBC Philharmonic...), we decided to go on a new adventure, by creating this international young ensemble, with desire to share our love for music with the widest audience possible.

!!! To launch our ensemble, we need YOUR help !!!

We will be playing our first concerts as a part of a residency this summer in Italy.
However, these concerts cannot yet cover the expenses of the launch of a new ensemble...

Here is what we need the 7334 € for:

- 50€ for the creation of the association AMK
- 70 € for bank and insurance
- 856 € for score rental (Mahler 1st Symphony, arrangement for 15 players by Klaus Simon, Ed. Universal)
- 1540 € for food during the two weeks of residence
- 4550 € to make a promotional video recording (including the rental of cameras, sound recording devices, sound ingeneering, and youtube licence...)
-268 € for a photoshoot of the ensemble
