Hello, my name is Margarito Calderon and I am the brother of Almabel Martinez. On April 7, 2021 alma tested positive for COVID-19 and 6 days after that she admitted to Houston Methodist West. She had underlying medical conditions that really made this battle hard for her to fight; for not only her, but her baby girl she was expecting. 

Alma and Gabriel were both so excited about the arrival of their baby. Due to the lack of oxygen Alma had to keep the baby’s heart beat strong. She had to have an emergency C-Section on April 14th. Following the birth of her baby, Almas health continued to decline. All Alma wanted to do is recover, so she could hold her baby girl for the first time. 

Yesterday May 5,2021 Almas health took a toll for the worse. Unfortunately, that morning she experienced even more serious medical issues, which lead to her final breath. This is a very difficult time for the family of Alma, Zoe and Gabriel. We are asking for prayers and any blessings. God May put in your heart to donate for the funds to cover her funeral expenses.
