Alma Batchie's Funeral and Family Support

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that during the early morning hours of Wednesday, 1/3/24, Alma Batchie passed away in her sleep. Due to the unexpected nature of her passing, no arrangements have been made which leaves her daughter, Sierra Mayo, with the financial burden of funeral and estate arrangements. In addition to dealing with all of the costs of her mother’s passing, Sierra lived at home with Alma and must financially carry Alma’s expected contributions while figuring out long-term living arrangements for herself and her young son, Garion Jr.

We are hoping that Alma’s community can come together to help care for her daughter and grandson in this unbelievably tragic time. Please contribute as you are able. All donations will go directly to Sierra to be used towards cremation, memorial service, rent/bills…etc.

While your love, support and condolences are appreciated, we ask that you limit outreach to Sierra to text/email at this time so that she can manage her social and emotional energy as needed while maneuvering this difficult situation. We will update this page when service arrangements are finalized.
