Ricketts Family Financial Relief: Jesse's MS treatments

The journey Jesse and I have been on since his MS diagnosis in 2014 has been challenging and transformative. Living with this illness has reshaped our lives in ways we never anticipated. At just 24, Jesse was thrown into a battle that would strip him of his ability to work, forcing us to become a single income family and rely on loans and family support to make ends meet.

Over time, the medical costs have piled up, and with two young children to care for, the weight of these expenses can feel crushing. Fortunately, Jesse has recently found some relief through a treatment called Ocrevus, which has given him a new lease on life—at least for a few months at a time. While Medicare covers a significant portion of the infusion costs, we still face a hefty out-of-pocket expense that adds to our growing debt.
