Allyse's Fibrolamellar Cancer

My name is Allyse Donarski, I'm 22 years old, and in May '17, I was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Fibrolamellar Hepatocellular Carcinoma. It is a rare type of liver cancer most common in adolescents and young adults. This cancer means that throughout my life I will develop multiple tumors in my organs ranging from my liver, stomach, uterus, breasts, lungs, blood, bone, or brain, etc. I have been in the hospital every 3 months for a scan for tumors, which are expensive. In June 2018 the oncologist found cancerous lymph nodes near my pancreas, which were thankfully removed; however, now I need adjuvant chemotherapy. My regimen right now is Interferon 4x a week every other week, a constant 5fu drip attached to a fanny pack everyother week, and twice a month an infusion of Optivo. So far my chemotherapy has totally sucked. Having Fibrolamellar Carcinoma means I have a 34% survival rate 5 years (living past 2022), but we are all staying optimistic that I will be a rare case of living til I'm old and grey. I'm looking for some financial assistance. I'm lucky enough that my parents will assist me with medical bills, but it will still be a difficult time on all of us financially and emotionally. I'm applying to scholarships and grants to try to get some help, but no luck so far. Thank you for any help you can give me. Everything helps.
