Hi, my name is Ally Gettman and I am going on a mission through YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in September for five months. It is split up into two different sections. The first part will be spent on a YWAM base in San Jose, Costa Rica in Central America. I will be living there for three months, spending my time studying the Bible and strengthening my relationship with the Lord before moving on to the outreach portion. This will be spent somewhere else (to be decided) for 2 more months before heading back home in February. God put missions on my heart a long time ago but introduced me to YWAM and their DTS (discipleship training program) about 2 years ago when I first visited the YWAM Kona base in Hawaii. Through finically supporting me, you are helping with costs of the school and outreach, plane tickets and other transportation, and any extra expenses I might run into along the way. I am filled with many emotions going into this new season of life after graduation but an overarching feeling I have is gratitude. I know that the Lord will guide not only my steps, but yours as you decide whether to give financially, through prayer, or by the fruit of friendship.
