Ally's Custom Wheelchair Fund

Hi and thanks for clicking on our page.
Most of you will know my baby sister Ally, but not everyone will know she was recently diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).
Ally has battled with her mental health for many years, often in silence, which has effectively caused a major brain malfunction which has left her permanently disabled.
Following a suspected stroke in January 2020, Ally has lost the use of her legs, suffers multiple seizures, is often non-verbal and has treatment for constant chronic pain.

Despite all this... She's an absolute warrior.

Not only adapting to life with such sudden and severe disability but during a global pandemic with minimal support. Absolute ledge.

But the wheelchair she currently has is a "one size fits all" and is very heavy, which isn't good for her back and upper body long term.

Her life and independence would benefit so much from a custom design, lightweight wheelchair, made to measure and fit for purpose.  However hot wheels come with a hot price tag and there won't be much pocket change from £4,500!

But can you really put a price on quality of life? How much are your legs worth to you?

Ally has some savings but I'd really appreciate if we could rally together and help her cover part of the cost.

Thank you so much for getting involved. Please spread the word.
And don't forget to love you and much as we do Xx
