Ally's YWAM DTS in Townsville

I’m super excited to share with you that I’ll be heading to Townsville, Australia in July to participate in a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM  Townsville. I’ll be learning and serving with YWAM for 6 months, during which I’ll spend my first 3 months in courses where I’ll learn about things like the character of God, building relationships, studying my bible, and spreading the gospel through missions. The second half of my time will be spent doing outreach focused on reaching remote people groups with the gospel, likely in Papua New Guinea.

I am SO excited about this opportunity God has placed on my heart and I cannot wait to get to Townsville this summer. However as you can imagine, preparing to head across the world in the middle of my time in school, feels like a challenging endeavor at times. I have no doubt in my mind that God will continue to provide for this direction in which he is taking my life, but I also know that prayer is a powerful tool that I am thrilled to ask my brothers and sisters in Christ for right now! Here are a couple things I would love for you to pray for me on this journey:

·      I would constantly tune my heart to God’s voice in the coming months

·      Travels and logistical things such as obtaining my VISA

·      The gospel would be evident through my life and interactions

·      Hearts would be opened to God’s amazing love

This adventure also includes a significant financial commitment that exceeds what I can afford on my own. This includes YWAM course fees, travel to Australia and my outreach location, food, and living expenses. I have a fundraising goal of $6,900 and I would ask that along with supporting me through prayer, you prayerfully consider financial support as well.
