Ally Cats Rescue-Risk of being homeless
Donation protected

Ally runs a small non-profit self funding cat rescue in her own home based in Thornton, Bradford. She rescues, rehomes and rehabilitates cats mainly in the Bradford area. She is mainly involved with ferels or the long term sick cats and currently has 47 in her care.
Up until last March she was working full time whilst doing this and paying for the cost of the cat food out of her own pocket (easily 80+ pouches a day), since then she has struggled to continue doing this and used all of her little savings to continue to provide the care they need. Including her vet bill being up to over £13,000 in debt.
She has and always will put the needs of the cats first, feeding them before feeding herself in most cases. The loss of her job, covid and lack of being able to fundraise like usual has taken its toll and she is now at the point of possibly losing her home. Ally is such a compassionate and caring lady not only to the cats in her care but to every person she meets. She puts herself out time and time again with no complaints. Her passion and commitment to the cats in her care and beyond is undeniable. She cannot lose her home when she does so much for everybody and everyone.
In Allys words "My life took a big turn around last year when I lost my job and I have tried to put my life in perspective for a while I was working long hours and burning out of course but I thought I could manage with little help but being out of work I realised that I’m still busy and the thought of going back to full time is very daunting knowing I will have no time to sit down again but my passion for rescue is all I live for sadly I’m single and not rich and I have to work to keep a roof on the kitties I’ve worked all my life after all.
