All-Terrain Wheelchair For Ethan Jones

In 2011, 5 months after I got married, I started to develop multiple health issues. I was losing some of my vision, a numb feeling on my thigh, etc. After multiple tests it ended up being a benign tumor on my spinal cord that was causing all the issues. I had surgery and radiation treatment that left me with the lower half of my body being weakened. I eventually worked back up to being able to walk without any devices. I could get back to the things I loved to normally do.

At the peak of my recovery I worked at a veterinarian's clinic. Shortly after I began work, I noticed my legs getting weak again. Long story short, I ended up having scar tissue from the previous surgery and radiation cause swelling. After an attempt to reduce the swelling with surgery, I woke up barely able to feel my legs. I was much more numb and weak than before. This utterly terrified me. After physical therapy and exercise, I was able to move around with assisted walking devices. I've gotten to the point, though, that almost anywhere I go, I need to use my wheelchair, unless its a very short distance. I want to go back to the things I used to do with my wife and friends. I enjoy travelling, and I've been able to travel some. But with my current wheelchair I'm very limited as to what I can experience. We're planning a trip with my parents for their 50th anniversary, and would love to have this wheelchair by September 2019 to be able to do more together as a family. My current chair can really be exhausting, and I absolutely hate having to rely on others because of my disability (Says the guy turning to crowd funding).

I was happy when I finally met my people. These two then tried to steal my wheelchair and take off with it...

WWII Destroyers aren't very good for traditional wheelchair mobility :)

Grass is even more difficult sometimes, depending on its density and softness.

This is the All-Terrain Wheelchair

I appreciate any and all help at this point. I'm tired of sticking to pavement, when I could walk on the beach with my wife again, and hike on unpaved trails again.
