All-Terrain Wheel Chair for Anthony!

Hi Everyone, I’m Janice, Anthony’s sister!

Help Anthony Get Back to Enjoying the Outdoors!

Our brother Anthony’s birthday is just around the corner, and this year, we’re not just celebrating his life — we’re working to change it.

If you know Anthony, you know how much he loves being outside. But since his brain bleed and stroke, following heart surgery in 2018, he’s faced barriers that have kept him from doing what he loves and enjoying life to the fullest. As you may also know, my parents are angels on Earth and take care of my brother on a daily basis.

With that being said, we are wanting to purchase an all-terrain wheelchair for Anthony. This chair would help alleviate the struggle for my parents of getting him around on the farm and outdoors. His regular wheelchair is not made to go on rocks and rough terrain; it ruins the wheels, limiting his ability to get outdoors. Therefore, he is limited from doing things he loves like building, tinkering in the shop, and enjoying the great outdoors!

We were able to test one out in Polk City a few weeks ago, and Anthony LOVED every minute of it and had the biggest smile! He gave us a huge thumbs up.

So, this year for his birthday, we’re asking for our community of amazing people to help support us to raise money to gift Anthony the Action Trackchair — an all-terrain wheelchair that will give him the independence to explore the outdoors again, from trails, getting around the farm, to fishing spots, to places a regular chair just can’t go. This is a big undertaking financially and not covered by insurance, so the expense will be all out of pocket for our family.

Every dollar brings us closer to getting Anthony back on track — literally. I know how much our brother is loved and always loved to have fun and make people laugh!
