On the morning of April 5th many lives were changed forever when it was discovered that Pat Beaumount, a Navy Vet and amazing human being was in a horrific accident in Wyoming where he was flung from a vehicle and is lucky to be alive! Having suffered extensive injuries and lucky to be alive Pat was taken via flight for life to a Nebraska Hospital where the fight of his life began!
While he is currently stable, from what the Dr's are able to tell he has 2 shattered arms, 11 broken ribs & lungs that continue to collapse as they are filling with fluid. Until his lungs are stable enough for him to undergo surgery doctors won’t be able to ascertain the full extent of his injuries. While doctors don’t know the full physical impact he sustained, at this time, it is safe to say he will more then likely be in the hospital for sometime, and need extensive rest and time for recovery afterwards.
Pat has been self-employed, as a result, he is currently without insurance or any form of short-term disability while he is recovering. Therefore he will not only need an extensive amount of money for his medical bills, he will also require finances for rent, food, and basic living expenses until he is able to work again.
A little about Pat
I have known Pat for over 20 years as he was my manager when I was a teen, even before he entered the Navy, where he focused on Engineering. From the moment I met him, you could tell he was an individual who believed in everybody, gave them a fair chance and would give them the shirt off his back even if that's all he had. He is an unforgettable human being who leaves memories of his smile & laughter every where he goes. His presence, acceptance, compassion and outlook on life changes you.
If you have ever had the honor of meeting Pat you know he is different and he leaves a lasting impact on you. He never hesitates to help someone in need, not even for a second, and now he needs you to do the same! Pat NEEDS us, if he has any shot at a normal life and getting out of this event alive! I don’t just mean physically, but also mentally, emotionally, and financially. Please help, with whatever you can, as I guarantee he has already done it for someone connected to you!!
