My dear mom Barbro has left us very unexpectedly.

She grew up in the tiny village of Berg, Sweden and was always very involved in all types of sports and activities at the Bergslunds GOIF’s local soccer field.

Back when she was young in the 50s, there were lots of activities and happenings going on at the local meeting point for many of the youngsters in the area. Unfortunately, the club had fewer and fewer members over the years and folded for a half-decade.

Now, new families moved into the area with young kids; new enthusiasts started up the Bergslunds GOIF again.

They are now building a nice fire pit, an outdoor gym and an activity trail for kids to train and enjoy the outdoors. This is just the thing that my mom would have loved to have here in Berg.
