Hi! I’m Allister (he/they).
I’m a trans man raising funds for gender-affirming top surgery.
This isn’t a cosmetic procedure for me. It’s about being able to live in my body without the constant weight of dysphoria. It’s about looking in the mirror and actually recognising myself. It’s about breathing deeply without a binder, moving freely, and not planning every outfit around hiding my chest.
For years, I’ve layered clothes, I’ve compressed, I’ve told myself to be patient.
But top surgery is the step that would allow me to finally feel at home in my own skin.
As someone who from time to time works creatively and has developed a performance about trans identity and being seen as a person beyond gender, this surgery feels deeply connected to my art and my life.
Top surgery would allow me to exist more freely, on stage and off.
The total cost of surgery, medical fees, and recovery adds up to more than I can manage on my own even with my parents help. That’s why I’m asking for your help.
If you choose to donate, you’re not just contributing to a medical procedure. You’re helping me step into a life with less fear, less discomfort, and more ease. You’re helping me exist without constantly negotiating my body.
If you can’t donate, sharing this page already means a lot.
Thank you for reading. Thank you for seeing me.
