Hello beautiful souls.
I'm Allison Kimberly Scholz.
Even though I have severe Cerebral Palsy from birth, I am an EXTREMELY DETERMINED, INSPIRING soul, who lets NOTHING "stand" in my way!
In 1999, when my parents passed away, (instead of giving up), I moved from NJ to Las Vegas, BY MYSELF to become independent. I lived in Vegas for 18 years, until the Vegas dusty, desert air had gotten too much, giving me Bronchitis and Pneumonia MORE THAN twice a year.
In 2017, my sweet little service dog Harmony & I moved from Las Vegas very near to Memphis, TN, BY OURSELVES!!
Some questioned my physical abilities to be able to do it. (Since I've moved by myself before, I absolutely knew I could do it again)!!!
Well, that was in 2017, and I'm still here in TN, living my dream!!!
It hasn't always been easy, (especially financially), but I never wanted it to be easy.
I'm extremely DETERMINED, & I PERSEVERE.
Going to GRACELAND every chance I can find transportation to get there, and seeing my Elvis Tribute Artists whenever I'm financially able to GET there, mostly by UBER. Even though I have a foldable electric wheelchair, (which is getting old and worn out now), it's somewhat difficult to take it apart & put together again each & every time to be put in a trunk.
I do have another HUGE electric wheelchair which the state bought me last year, but it's heavy & NOT portable at all. They only give people heavy electric wheelchairs to get around in. They don't care about lightweight, nor "portability".
I'm afraid since my foldable electric wheelchair is getting worn out, WHEN it stops working, I WILL be in a bind.
I have seen SIMILAR portable electric wheelchairs that EASILY FOLD up, (WITHOUT having to take it apart, nor take the wheels off), which is cumbersome for my drivers to figure out how to do it.
Also, even though I'm on a limited income, I am ABLE to pay my rent, utility bills, etc., which I'm EXTREMELY PROUD of!!
If I could pay off loans, cards, & have a little to put aside for emergencies & transportation rides (to get out more), that would DEFINITELY put my mind at ease.
People who TRULY KNOW me, know I don't normally ask for help, especially financially.
If I had asked in the past, most people hadn't taken me seriously, which is OK & understandable.
I'm so EXTREMELY PROUD of myself, of EVERYTHING I've been able to ACCOMPLISH in this CHALLENGED, but DETERMINED, & INSPIRING, INCREDIBLE, & BLESSED 65 years of life!!

I PROMISE YOU...

I'M FAR FROM FINISHED ACCOMPLISHING MY DREAMS, and MY DESTINY!!!

Even if you would please SHARE my story with your FB contacts, it would be deeply appreciated!
THANK YOU sooooo very much, in advance, and for reading this far, about my BEAUTIFUL, challenged, grateful, INSPIRING life!
