This GoFundMe is to help raise funds for Allison's gender-affirming care.

Allie cares so much for her trans and queer community. It's one of the first things that drew me to her two years ago, when we met at a rally supporting trans athletes. She was so eloquently and passionately sharing her experience as a trans woman in sports.

She has provided hundreds of people with support on their gender journey over the past six years at the Wellness Centre; the University Health Centre; Alberta Health Services; and the Queer & Trans Health Collective, where she currently serves as a board member.

To know Allison is to be loved. She has such a kind, gentle heart. Even if you've only met her once, I'm sure your journey has left an impact on her, and perhaps hers on you.

Alberta is not an easy place to receive gender-affirming care. After hitting a few road blocks, I know some of Allison's goals have been put on the backburner to focus on community.
