Allison's Comeback

Allison is a 25-year-old RN for the Advanced Endoscopic Team at Mercy South in St. Louis, Missouri. She is from Columbia, Illinois and engaged to Will Wuertz.

On April 11, 2022, Allison had a seizure while driving to work, resulting in a car accident. She was unharmed in the accident, but following an MRI she was diagnosed with an Epidermoid Brain Tumor. On April 27, 2022, she had surgery to remove the tumor; 80 – 85 percent of the tumor was able to be removed. Following the surgery, Allison suffered seizures and several strokes which have left her in the ICU since the surgery.

At this time, Allison is unable to care for herself and she is requiring extensive neuro rehabilitation. This type of therapy is only provided at a facility in either Denver or Atlanta. As a result of this Allison’s medical expenses are going to increase substantially. Getting her to one of these facilities will require specialized transportation to get Allison there along with her family having to relocate during her rehabilitation.

As her medical expenses continue to increase, Allison and her family are asking for your help to alleviate the financial burden placed on them at this time.
