Allison was diagnosed a few weeks ago with SMA Syndrome.  This is a rare syndrome that can become fatal if not diagnosed.  After a few months of not being able to keep food down and much weight loss she was rushed to the Denver Children's Hospital.  Here they came to the conclusion and put her on a feeding tube.  She will need to remain on the feeding tube for at least the next 4 weeks.  She is doing her best being to be a "normal" 17 year old.  Her spirits and attitude are amazing and she is attending school with her food tube and watches on the side lines as her basketball team plays.  Alli has a long ways to go to re-establish the lining of her intestine so that she can once again consume real food.  Your support will help in the process to cover medical expensenses and nourish her on the road to recovery.  Thank you for caring!
