On August 2nd, 2015, a horrendous storm ripped through Northern Michigan. Within 20 minutes, the place Allison and her 2 year old son Jacob calls home was devastated. Two of the many large trees that were affected came crashing down onto her house. This has resulted in extensive damage to the roof, broken windows and a caved ceiling in Jacob's room rendering it unsafe to occupy.
Multiple trees were uprooted in the front yard cutting off access to the driveway making a multi-day effort in clearing the trees out of the way. On the other side of the home is another tree, easily 80 feet tall, that is halfway uprooted and leaning on another tree currently preventing it from falling. If the tree gives way, it will take out the power line and propane tank directly beneath it. Being the fact that the tree is dangerously close to that power line, Allison is going to have to call in a tree removal service to get the tree properly removed.
Unfortunately as a single mother trying to raise her son in this home, finances have been extremely tight making the clean up efforts, tree removal, and home repair impossible.
Please, if you are able, help Allison fix the damage caused by this storm. She and Jacob would be more than grateful.
Thank you,
Nathan Seright
