Allison's Heart Transplant

Hi. 

My name is Allison Meade and I'm 19 years old. I love to play videogames, I want to go into marine biology, my best friend is my cat and I also live with end stage heart failure. I am trying to raise money to help pay for my heart transplant.
I got diagnosed last year... And I've already had one open heart surgery to receive an LVAD. I have been admitted in the hospital so many times this year for how sick i have been. My best bet at living a long decent life is a new heart. Unfortunately since I live in Oregon and the only heart transplant center closed I have been forced to go out of state for it. This has greatly increased the costs I have as I have to fly for appointments and my surgery is in Washington where I have to afford to be able to stay for three months after transplant. I cannot do this by myself. I tried to do this alone and I almost died .I have had to ask for help. I moved in with my aunt who is now my caregiver and my family has tried to give me the best support they can but this is bigger than us. I really hope I am able to reach out and get help in getting me a new heart.
