On March 12th, Allison was involved in an accident which resulted in a traumatic brain injury. Doctors’ immediate concerns were around the possibility of stroke or paralysis, but thankfully over the course of the first 48 hours those risks were taken off of the table. The main concerns moving forward revolve around the healing of her skull fractures and the restoration of the delicate tissue in the right side of her brain. Her right ear is also being carefully monitored as it sustained significant damage upon impact.

Allison’s family is overwhelmed with gratitude for not only her condition improving but for the outpouring of love they have received. As Allison continues to heal, costs surrounding her care are mounting and will continue to be added to as she will need the assistance of physical therapy and auditory therapy following her hospital stay.
