I want to start off by thanking you for taking the time to read my story.

My name is Allison for those of you who don’t know me. I’m a person that has always put the needs of others first instead of my own. I’ve never asked for handouts and I typically never let my best friends pay for me when we meetup for a meal. Even on my birthday.

For those reading this that know me, you know I wouldn’t be asking for this if I had any other options. That being said, it is incredibly hard to share this.

My life has been turned upside down with chronic illnesses and constant doctor’s visits. With my newest diagnosis, I am unfortunately starting chemotherapy on Monday December 18th. My doctor bills have drained my savings and I’m working two jobs to try and break even. If I could, I’d work more to avoid asking for financial assistance but my body just won’t let me.

I’m hoping to get through chemotherapy without it completely crippling me financially and that’s why I’m here. I have debt and I don’t see a way out especially when I know my body will be at its weakest going through this treatment.

Your contributions, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in my life. It will ensure that I’m able to cover current medical expenses and be able to continue the treatments that I need to get healthy and beat this thing.
