On September 8, 2025, our family lost our beloved mother and Grammy, Allison Bayba. Her passing was sudden and heartbreaking. In the midst of our grief, we have been searching for a way to honor her memory and the light she brought to everyone around her. Allison was known for her generosity, kindness, and sense of fun. She truly lit up every room she entered.

For 24 years, Allison worked at Western State Hospital, dedicating her life to caring for her patients and creating a safe, healing environment. Just across the street sits Fort Steilacoom Park, a place closely tied to her community. To celebrate her life and legacy, we hope to place a memorial bench there. This will be a space where family, friends, and colleagues can sit, reflect, and remember the joy Allison brought into our lives.

Any funds raised beyond the cost of the bench will go toward covering funeral expenses. Her loss was entirely unexpected, and every contribution, no matter the size, means so much to us.
