While Bella was visiting her Nana in Florida for the first part of summer break she began feeling ill. An urgent care visit with a strep diagnosis quickly escalated. On Thursday morning (6/14) Bella collapsed and was taken by ambulance to the ER. From there, she was flown to Shands Childrens Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Through several close calls, a splenectomy performed bedside and multiple surgeries, Bella has been a strong fighter. Her body is slowly doing its best to get back. Going all in on recovery! The team here at Shands has been working around the clock and believe she had a very rare case of Mono that grabbed hold extremely fast. Nathan and I appreciate every prayer, word of encouragement and message that we have received. It is going to be a long road to recovery for Bella and our family will be temporarily in Florida. Bella goes all in with her friendships, sports, relationships and loving her family. She needs us to go #allinforbella and get this girl back to Oklahoma! Keep the prayers coming!
