Hi, my name is Debbie Reeder and I had the pleasure of becoming instant friends with Allie's mother Alice Salamone at Ryan International Airlines. Even after the closing of Ryan and Alice flying with Spirit Airlines and me at the competition Frontier Airlines our friendship has remained!
When I received the message from Alice I was shocked and numb with grief. I couldn't believe it because whe was doing so well for the past 1 1/2 years. Alice's words to me during this time was "I finally got my old Allie back!"
I know Alice, Corky, Bob, Amy, Joey, Genis and precious Legion were very proud of Allie and surrounded her with love and support.
Allie was a wonderful fun loving person and didn't deserve the outcome. I've been reading a lot of her Facebook posts from family and friends and see the strong impact she's had with so many people's lives.
She was a great daughter, sister, girlfriend and friend to so many but most important she was a great mother to Legion the apple of her eye!
Allie tried her hardest to fight and for some reason on Friday, May 5, god must of needed another sweet angel!
With the families permission I am starting a Go Fund Me account to help with the costs of the funeral and to set up a college fund for Legion. Alice and Amy will oversee the account. I have been feeling helpless and a lot of former and co-workers have been reaching out to me and asking how they can help Alice and her family during this difficult time.
