Allie’s Smile: A Portrait in London

Donation protected
Hi! I’m Becky, mama of 3 precious girls, and our youngest was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Her diagnosis connected us with so many incredible families across the world and locally!

Our little Allie Gator is such a brave, incredible little human, and she’s our tiny little hero! She has taught us such humility and strength. One of the fellow cleft moms that I connected with throughout our journey is a very talented artist who has been working so very hard on the most beautiful art exhibition. It’s called 100 Cleft Portraits. Well, of course, after seeing her breathtaking work, I just had to have my own portrait of our girl’s first wide smile! It’s a feeling that is so hard to put into words!

After all the fears I had during my pregnancy about her cleft, and what others would think or say, it was so, so hard to say goodbye to that first smile!

When we arrived home after 5 days in the hospital following her palate repair, her portrait had been delivered! I was so in love! Now, 3 years later, my dear sweet friend’s art exhibition is ready, and it’s our baby girl’s debut!

The exhibit is in London on July 5! With all of our other family expenses, we just don’t have it in the budget to send Allie and me to London without asking for help. I am not one to ask for help, so this is very out of my comfort zone!

If you feel led, we would be so very overwhelmed with gratitude! If you aren’t able to make a donation, but have read this far, please know we appreciate your prayers always!
