My sister Alex Greening King has been in a war with her health since early 2015, shortly after the birth of her son Blake.

Lupus , systematic schleroderma, fibromyalgia, Hashimotos, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Barrett’s esophagus are just a few things she’s been battling for the last 7 years.

Which brings us to where we are today…

On January 29th 2022 she received a call that her kidneys were in bad shape, due to her liver failing, by Tuesday she was admitted into Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Ks and by Thursday she was being flown to KU Medical Center in Kansas City .

This has been a whirlwind for her along with her family, as you can imagine and with the call to be sent to Kansas City being unexpected and that brings unexpected hardships with their finances.

Her husband Dustin has been doing all he can to find some work as they plan on her having to stay in the Kansas City area for an extended amount of time, and some time after the transplant will be spent in hotels/Airbnb’s which can add up quickly .

This family never asks for help, they are always the first to help others in their time of need, and even with all the blows Alex has taken from her health she’s never thrown in the towel , she remains positive, strong and fearless. We are incredibly proud of her many strengths !
