Allie's Judicial Experience in The Netherlands

Hello! I am currently a student at the Charleston School of Law, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina - Columbia (2024) and Chesterfield High School (2021).

This summer, I will be temporarily relocating to Europe! I have been selected to participate in an international program during which I will complete several courses towards my law degree and experience judicial systems throughout the world. My home base will be The Hague, Netherlands, and I will return to Charleston in the fall to begin my second year of law school!

For those that don’t know, The Hague is one of the worlds’ most prominent judicial hubs. It is home to the International Court of Justice, the main judicial arm of the United Nations, as well as the International Criminal Court, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, and hundreds of other IO’s with major US involvement. I will have the privilege of expanding my knowledge of the law on both a domestic and worldwide scale by being surrounded by these prestigious organizations.

As one might expect, the experience gained during this trip does not come without high costs. I will be paying for tuition in addition to housing and all other expenses associated with being away from home. I’ve started this GoFundMe in case anyone is interested in supporting my trip. If not financially, I would greatly appreciate any prayers towards myself, the other students from law schools throughout the world also attending, the faculty, and the individuals who keep these organizations running on a daily basis.
