Allie’s stage 4 cancer journey

Hi my name is Allison, I’m 38 years old. I am a mother, spouse, daughter, auntie and overall a loving and caring person.

In July of 2023 I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. I had surgery in Aug 2023 to remover my colon, rectum, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and appendix.

I started my first round of chemotherapy October 2023. My immune system became toxic with the chemo, so my doctors had to lower the dosage twice. By April 2024 I was only able to do chemo radiation. September 2024 came and bowel blockages were found so another surgery took place. This is when they found more cancer cells in my abdomen.

So now, November 2024 I started my second round of chemotherapy, aptly called palliative chemotherapy. There is no end date to this chemotherapy, as the cancer cells are floating around in my abdomen, so the doctors have no set course of action right now.

I'm raising funds to support my medical expenses, as well as added expenses for my son, things like new winter boots, Sylvan learning expenses, etc to name a few things, as I’m currently not working, I need all the help I can get.
