Allie's ACL Surgery: The Madaris Family Needs Our Help

Hey guys! I'm Alison Williams and chances are, if you know the Madaris family, you probably know me too. I consider Tiffany and her family my second family and when family needs help, you jump in and do whatever you can... so here I am. I may or may not have asked their permission to create this GoFundMe but I figured I'd rather ask for forgiveness than permission, right?

Some of you may know, but Jeff and Tiffany's *almost* 15 year old daughter, Allie, recently got injured during one of her select softball tournaments. After doctor's visits and an MRI, they were given the news that she has a complete ACL tear and will require surgery.

This news hit hard for so many reasons. Allie is a competitive multi-sport athlete entering into high school and will have to spend most of her freshman year recovering. Not only will she not be able to play her sports that she loves, she's also hurting and will have a long and strenuous recovery process.

As if the physical and mental aspects of this diagnosis aren't hard enough, there is also the financial aspect. With 2 self-employed parents, getting insurance can be difficult and unfortunately, this injury came at a time when there was an insurance lapse. So not only will the Madaris family have to come up with the money to pay for the surgery, anesthesia, hospital, etc., they will also have to take some time away from their businesses to focus on caring for Allie since she will be non-weight bearing for a while.

I can't imagine being in the position of your child being hurt, having to have surgery, and you're also having to worry about how you will pay for it and how you will continue to pay your bills with a reduced work schedule. That stress is TOUGH and a lot to bear.

This is where WE can come in. This family is ALWAYS the first to jump in and help whenever anyone needs it. Tiffany and Jeff are always willing to donate, volunteer, and do anything they can for others, but now it's their turn. They have SO many friends and I know if we can all throw in even a small amount, they'll be able to have enough money to go ahead and get Allie's surgery scheduled so she can start her recovery process and HOPEFULLY be walking before school starts in August. Seriously, any amount will help tremendously. $1 or $100.. it all adds up.
