Hello, my name is Abby. Allie Mader is a COTA that works at our Grand Island, Nebraska locations. On Friday, 11/26/22, her son, Jack, was diagnosed with Type B Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Jack is your typical 8-year-old boy who loves anything to do with the Kansas City Chiefs and anything related to baseball. Allie and her husband are currently staying in Omaha (135 miles from their home) at Children’s Hospital while Jack undergoes treatment. Jack does have two siblings, a sister Presly (6 years- old) and a brother Colton (3 years-old), who have been staying with friends and family back in Grand Island. So many people have asked how they can help and are sending prayers to this family. I can’t even begin to imagine what this family is going through. Please do not feel obligated, but I thought any help or prayers anyone could give to Allie and her family would be a start.
