Alliance for Alex❤️
Hi! My name is Susanna Kampwirth-Ruhl. My daughter Erin’s best friend, Alex Galis, could really use some divine intervention for the back tuition of her junior year at Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School.
Back story: Erin and Alex have attended the same school since 5th grade. During this time, I’ve come to know Alex as a selfless angel, who puts everyone’s needs above her own. She takes care of her nieces and nephews, without much time for herself. Erin lost her uncle and grandfather within a few month of each other, myself with breast cancer, her cousin with rare aggressive cancer. Alex was the unwavering crutch.
Not long after that, Alex had her own turbulent troubles. Her father was laid off and her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After treatment, the bills became surmountable. Then another diagnosis, Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. About a year after treatment, it returned. All the while, working part-time as she can’t afford to quit. Alex’s father is currently working again, but those bills are too much. High school tuition is no longer a priority. It’s survival.
Unless her back tuition is paid, she will not have the option to return for her senior year, the only stability she has. This young woman thrives in this environment through scholastics and extra-curricular activities, such as bowling.
This is family is too proud to ask anyone for anything, even if everything is lost. I know Alex is starting to loose hope about finishing school, which is why I’m here. Thank you so much for reading. Please consider giving to Alex’s Alliance. This sweet young lady could real use some angels right about now!
