Every beat counts

My name is Veronica and I am raising money for my 4 year old daughter. She was recently diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome. Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is a heart rhythm condition that can potentially cause fast, chaotic heartbeats. These rapid heartbeats might trigger a sudden fainting spell or seizure. In some cases, the heart can beat erratically for so long that it causes sudden death. Izzie started taking beta blockers to help control her heart beats, but this doesn't mean it will prevent her from harm. We still don't know what LQTS she has and the only way to know is to get a genetic mapping of her DNA done. The insurance will not pay for this because it's very expensive but very important. The money would be used to get her tests done so that we can know more about what she has and how we can control her episodes. This test means everything to me and her father, so that we can give our baby girl a better life, a normal life.
