Alleviating a Life with MS
Donation protected
Hi!
Thank you so much for taken this moment to read about an amazing friend/mother in need.
When my friend Erika Portillo first told me she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, I couldn’t begin to even imagine what that meant for her and her family. The impact it would have on her day to day life. For the past few years I have seen her adjust and push herself more than anyone I’ve ever known. I‘m hoping this campaign will reminder her that she is not alone and that God has everything in his hands. Any money raised will help pay off any accumulated medical bills, in addition to give her the opportunity to try a new treatment.
Her doctors have finally confirmed that her type of Multiple Sclerosis is PPMS; a more aggresive form of MS. Treatment options for PPMS are scarce to almost non existent, and being that chemo is no longer doing anything for her, she has been presented with once in lifetime time opportunity of getting a stem cell transplant that can help. However, the procedure comes at a very high price and a realization that she can’t and shouldn’t do this alone.
I know the amount we are reaching towards may seem a bit high but if we all come together I know we can help her get to this goal. If you haven’t done so already, please donate. She can’t do this alone, so lets do it together!
Any donations made through this campaign will go directly to her and her family.
Thank you again!
