Alleviate Starving in Kabul

To all of you who have supported the Mangal family here and in Kabul, please know that your contributions have made an incredible difference in their lives. The situation in Kabul is still very bad, no work, little food, scant housing. We continue to send the funds to Kabul through Western Union, and I have receipts for every single transaction. Here in Pittsfield, the Mangal family continues to struggle as well. While Shaffiqulla has worked non-stop since he arrived, he was just laid off for 8 weeks. The Monterey Food Pantry has graciously allowed them to continue a weekly food pick-up which will continue until Shaffiqulla finds work. He's currently completed the exams for his commercial driver's license and is taking his practicum soon. Meanwhile, the family is pretty much living hand to mouth. Recently is first cousin died in Kabul from lack of medical care. So many thanks to all of you who have helped to put this family of 7 back on its feet. They are so very grateful.
