On July 24th - just 3 days before my 41st birthday, I was told I had breast cancer. I was diagnosed with ER/PR Positive, Her2 negative - Grade 2 breast cancer. What should have been an amazing celebration turned into sharing the news with my family. I now face many unexpected and challenging battles.

Josh has started a new job in July right before I was diagnosed and has had to take many days off without pay to be at appointments. I am so thankful for his new work family that they put me and my care first before work.

I am a very selfless person who has always put others first and has devoted my whole career to healthcare and the welfare of others. I don't like to ask for help, but at this point, I have to put my pride aside and lean on others as I cannot take on this journey alone.

I have applied for any and every program out there and have been told I do not qualify or they have received their limit of applications.
