Hey friends!! Our beautiful friend. Betsy has recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer. She’s so amazing inside and out and would do anything for any one in her life. I wanted to create the space to help alleviate the financial stress that she is going through right now during this diagnosis and treatment. I know if you see this, she has touched your life in one way or another whether it was at Sheldon Jackson College, Homer, or her favorite place where she grew up, Georgia. Hi, friends! Thank you so much for your generosity! I’m so grateful that we’ve raised what we have so far. It will be put towards medical bills, because there’s lots of those around. I thought I’d give you an update on how things are going. I had a hysterectomy 3/25, and during the surgery, they took lymph nodes to examine. Unfortunately, those lymph nodes had cancer in them. My cancer is now a stage 3C1. I will have to go through chemotherapy and radiation starting in a couple weeks, after I am healed from my surgery. I’m determined to get through this illness, so I’m gonna do what needs to be done. Love you all.
