Allen & Melanie flooded over the Memorial Day weekend. Once the water started rising they began taking stuff upstairs and raising larger items onto sawhorses. Melanie moved small appliance to the upper countertops. They had been threatened by flood waters but it had never gotten in the house. This storm caught them off gaurd as the water rose very quickly. They never expected the water would rise as much as it did. Everything in the bottom story of the house is a total loss. They do not have insurance and are in a very sad and difficult position. They are very proud and private people and would not ask for themselves, this is why I am asking for them. If each person that reads this could give a small amount it could make a big difference.
