Allen Stout

Hi, my name is Doug and I am fundraising for Allen Stout. Allen is 33 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer on August 4, 2022. Glioblastoma is the most common, treatment-resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer. This type of cancer is very hard to detect when in the early stages. When first diagnosed, Allen was told that the tumor was inoperable. Allen was fortunate enough to be referred to Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis for a second opinion, shortly thereafter. He was able to undergo surgery where they removed 90-95% of the tumor. The remaining part of the tumor is attached to Allen's brain and cannot be removed.

Allen is currently on the third variation of chemotherapy, as the cancer has mutated. His last MRI on June 20, 2023 indicated the cancer is growing. Allen is currently being cared for by his parents, Debbie and Kevin. Neither Allen nor Debbie has been able to work since April 16, 2023.
