Allen Legrow funeral and upcoming expenses

Hello my name is Stacy Hugman and I am the Aunt of Jennifer Balmes. Jennifer’s partner (Allen Legrow) was tragically diagnosed recently with incurable cancer (at age 45), which he succumed to in the early morning of Dec 27th 2024 (on Jennifer's birthday). Allen was a past barbershopper, singing in the Montreal quartet Mixed Nuts and the Island City Chorus.

Sadly, Jen is out of work. She is trying to care for their 11 yr old twin boys (Damian and Logan) while taking care of their needs at home.

Sadly, she is struggling just to keep the boys clothed and fed healthy these days. There was no Christmas presents this year and they understand.

On Christmas Eve Day, Jen had to bring Allen to hospice. Doctors said he may last the week.

Please know, my niece Jen is a warrior and is not someone who will ask for handouts, which is why I am stepping in! My niece is proud, but she is also someone who is very appreciative if help comes along.

With no life insurance policy from Allen, Jennifer needs to assume Allen’s funeral expenses, so the boys may lay their Dad to rest and then deal with any upcoming expenses.
