On 12/13/18 Charles “Allen” Ewing, passed away unexpectedly. We are seeking your support with sharing your most recent/ most fond memories and photos of Allen. In addition, we appreciate your support with cremation/ceremony/memorial expenses. Any additional funds received will be dispersed to his three children- Nevaeh, Zachary and Alana.
Allen lived his life to the beat of his own drum- he loved people, and absolutely ADORED his three children Nevaeh, Zachary and Alana. He loved jamming with his didgerdoo and guitar and always had a joke or funny story to brighten the day or ramp up a party.
Allen impacted so many people in his life. He had a heart of gold and I don’t think that Allen truly knows how much he influenced those that walked into his life. When he truly loved something, he loved with his entire heart - he loved whole-heartedly.
He always had the right words to say when you were down - to lift you right back up on your feet. He knew how to make you feel like you were ok and that it was ok to cry.
Those that knew Allen, know he was the life of the party with a heart that was so big. He was a solid friend- you could turn to with anything. He would share something poetic or deep that really made you think about what really matters most and then he’d crack a joke to lighten it up and make you laugh. He loved to laugh.
He enjoyed sitting in the quiet of the morning with a cup of coffee, contemplating and soaking in the peace, reflecting. He loved to go hiking with his kids- take them to breakfast. He loved science and history and loved teaching his kids about science and nature. When his kids were little, he loved making mickey mouse pancakes with them on Sunday mornings. He loved cooking and crafting. He was a jack- of-all trades.
We are all deeply saddened and will cherish his memory for a lifetime. Allen, buddy… “take your time” we’ll meet up again.
