Allee Bauer -- Help Support through Cancer

Donation protected
Children should not have to suffer. Unfortunately, our world is sometimes cruel to our most innocent. Allee Bauer, my 15-year-old niece, is possibly the sweetest girl you could ever meet. A girl that never has a bad thing to say about anyone or anything, yet she’s been thrown into the midst of a battle she shouldn’t have to fight. Her parents – Jay (Jack) and Shannon, along with her younger sister Avery, will be in this fight with her.

After the conclusion of Allee’s basketball season this year, she was experiencing discomfort in her leg. Her pediatrician sent her for some tests. Soon it was discovered that she had a tumor. Here’s where the cruelty multiplied – while awaiting the biopsy results, she had a minor fall that became a major nightmare. Her leg broke in the area of the mass. She was immediately hospitalized, and their family soon received the horrible news that the tumor was cancerous.

Many people have reached out asking how they can help. What Allee and her entire family will appreciate the most – is your prayers. If you have the means and would like to do more, you can. As Jay’s sister – I can attest to the fact that Jay and Shannon have always been responsible, have planned, and saved to deal with family emergencies. However, very few families can anticipate a situation of this magnitude.

Allee must be transported to Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor to begin her battle, and the family will need to accompany her. While we don't know what the total expenses will be, we’re certain they will be substantial. If you choose to give, rest assured that this is a worthy cause, and all funds will be directed appropriately.

Thanks for taking the time and care to read this. Please keep the Bauer Family in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you,
Jay’s Sister - Darcy White (Bauer)
