Go Fund Me has been created on behalf of Allan Smillie family.
We are heartbroken to share the loss of Allan Smillie (Uncle Al) a beloved son, brother,uncle,great uncle and friend who was taken from us far to soon.
On Saturday 22nd Febuary 2025 Uncle Al was riding his mobility scooter home from the local supermarket in Kingston as he did every Saturday, when he was tragically struck and killed at the hands of a youth offender, under the influence and driving recklessly behind the wheel.
Leaving our family devastated and torn apart.
Uncle Al was well known and loved in the community,where he was a friendly and fimilar face to many.
His kind,warmth and gentle spirit touched so many lives, his passing is not just a loss to our family, but to all who knew him.
The community has lost a dear friend and we are all struggling to come to terms with this tragedy.
Uncle Al passing has left our family with a massive loss emotionally and financially.
As we grieve, we are reaching out for support to help cover the funeral expenses. So we can give Uncle Al the farewell he deserves.
