It is with the saddest hearts that I share the devastating loss of my children’s loving father, Alan Bennington, who passed away suddenly on Monday 29th December 2025.

Only days earlier, on Christmas Day, we were together as a family — watching our children open their presents, laughing and enjoying what should have been a happy, special time. Without any warning, just days later, Alan closed his eyes for the last time.

Our children, aged 8 and 6, have lost their devoted dad. Alan adored his children and they were his whole world — just as they were devoted to him. Our lives stopped in an instant, and we are still struggling to understand how this could have happened.

I am now left to raise our children on my own, while trying to help them cope with a loss no child should ever have to face. Every day I ask myself how I will cope — emotionally and financially. Life feels overwhelming and frightening, and the future feels incredibly uncertain.

I am asking, with humility and gratitude, if anyone is able to help us by donating towards Alan’s funeral. At the moment, we do not know how we can give him the loving and dignified send-off he deserves, with so little available to us.
