All Yara wants this Winter is to have a stronger heart.

My six year old neighbor Yara and her family need to travel to California this winter. Not for vacation or to visit family but our dear little Yara needs a life saving operation and now moved back to February is the best time for that.

Yara was born with a complex form of congenital heart disease(Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MACAs) and has required many surgeries since birth. Her first surgery was at only 3 months old. She now requires Pulmonary artery reconstruction, rehabilitation, and unifocalization(redirecting of blood vessels).

The surgeon now needs to address the pulmonary artery narrowing/stenosis with her lungs. This Californian surgeon has the most experience with this procedure on childern and has the highest success rate. Yara’s parents are United States citizens and are extremely thankful to be here and love our country they were born in Algeria. Yara and her younger brother are born here in America and very close friends with my kids.

Her mother firmly believes God has brought her to her new American home to save her daughter Yara. She thanks God often and prays constantly for everything they have.

Help me prove to Yara and to her family the love, compassion, and grace of fellow American citizens and show them how the community here lifts up those in need. They need money for any costs that won’t be covered by their insurance, travel expenses and missed work.

The only hospital recommended for this open heart surgery is Stanford’s Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto California. The surgery will make it so future surgeries will be done less invasively.

Yara is very social, outgoing, sensitive, smart and loving. We need to keep her happy and strong. Help us save her.
